The mattress has 4 layers and at the comfort layer is a 3″ HD gel infused memory foam. This eliminates the common complaint with memory foams which is heat. It also has a 1″ comfort layer and 2 inches of airflow layer to further improve the cooling. The support layer is a 7″ high density therapeutic foam and it is covered with natural bamboo. This a great mattress that gives you a good return on your money.

The airflow layer of the mattress, combined with the gel memory foam allows for a cooler temperature as you sleep. If you are not yet aware, memory foam can trap heat and this can be very uncomfortable when you sleep. With the Brentwood Home Cypress, this is a non issue.
