Mattress Construction
The mattress has a total thickness of 10 inches and it has a bamboo cover. There are 2 layers, the comfort layer is 3 inches of blended talalay latex and the support layer is 5.5 inches of convoluted high density foam.
There are different firmness options to choose from: Firm, Cushion Firm, Plush/Medium and Ultra Plush/Soft. However, we recommend the “Ask Chuck” option. This option will allow you to get the most appropriate firmness level for your needs. They will contact you after purchasing and help you choose the firmness that you prefer.
The top layer is a 3″ blended talalay latex. Blended latex is a combination of natural and synthetic latex. Talalay is the processing method used so the end product is softer as opposed to latex that is processed using the Dunlop method. The support layer is a 5.5″ convoluted high density foam. The convoluted design allows for airflow and this will allow you to sleep cooler. The foam can support you properly as it is very dense (1.5lbs).
The cover of the mattress is a quilted bamboo cover with 1.5 inches of hyperflex foam.
All foams are CertiPUR-US certified and the mattress is made in the USA.
How Does it Perform
- Comfort and Support
Being able to choose your preferred firmness is definitely a plus because you will be getting a mattress that you will be comfortable in. The latex in the comfort layer provides pressure and pain relief and it can contour to your body without the sinking feeling that is present in memory foams. As a result, movement and getting in and out of bed is easier.
Having a bamboo quilted cover results in a very soft feeling when you initially lay on the mattress. The dense (1.5lbs) support foam is very effective. It will allow you to sleep with proper posture and the convoluted design helps with the temperature.

You will be able to sleep cooler because of the convoluted design of the support foam for airflow and because the mattress is using a bamboo cover. The bamboo cover can absorb moisture and this can help in maintaining a good temperature as you sleep.

You will be able to move without disturbing your sleeping partner with this mattress.
- Off Gassing
Off gassing is minimal to non existent. Despite the presence of polyfoam in the design of the mattress, off gassing is not a problem and this is quite an achievement.
